PIKOM PC Fair Revisit at KLCC

Another revisit to KLCC Convention Center for the PIKOM PC Fair... Seriously! I been telling myself not to go there and still ended up there...

Of course I wasn't there just to browse around and waste my money to buy more HDD (Even I wanted to buy yet I managed to resists the temptation!) but to see any good offer on SanDisk thumbdrives and hoping to get good deal on Maxis Broadband subscription.

Something new this time at Samsung booth with their LED/LCD monitors on display then with Kaspersky hard press efforts to promote their products and I'm glad to see ESET booth is there to promote their NOD32 anti-virus.

I find this time PC Fair is below average when comes to promotion towards thumbdrives, Mobile Broadband is on war as usual with the crazy and constant changes on the subscription plan, HDD still the same except Western Digital promoting their three colors 'Buzz Lightyear' stars. Many others things I basically ignore as usual while glad to have my sweet fiancee with me ;)

Overall, PC Fair same as always and seriously hoping they can put up high-end modded rig for display. Seriously just go there if you ever intended to purchase item like laptop, monitor or printer; not just because its cheaper (the fact that even Lowyat also will sell the same price) but they just offer free gift or better package compare to other days.

34th Malaysian National Championships

It's 3.00 AM and I'm still awake while finalize everything... System has been deployed and I'm very confident that everything will work out and I'm very excited that my beloved fiancee is going to help out as well!!!

Damn excited till so late also not tired out yet~ But it's time for me to rest as another six hours for the official start time.

Chief Lane Marshal

Finally my work is done~ The 31st Malaysian National and 30th Interstate Championship is over! After eight days of restless work and going for classes, i finally can settle down and focus more on my final year project.

I have been assign to be the Cheif Lane Marshal for the event and the name do sound fancy but seriously it’s one busy task to be responsible… Working in this type of event what most important is team work and as their leader, it’s best for me to understand each of them well and was hoping that i could bring as much lesser problem and comfortable working environment but then again.. there is times where problem will exist and for sure i’m responsible on dealing with the problem happen during the event.

Eight days may sound quite a short period for everyone but for us lane marshal it feels like it’s taking days for the time to pass and each and everyone of us are hoping that the day will be over and can go home rest as much as possible. I myself faced difficulties when i have to focus on my studies and also work at the same time… Seriously i was begging myself to get to bed and have the mindset of doing my assignment in another day but in the end i just virtually glue myself on the seat and do as much i can on the assignment… I’m thankful i manage to survive this heavy duty work so i hope my effort can be put to good use.

This year somehow most of the marshals are doing a job well done as hardly there is problem from them but somehow i ended up having the most problem which it’s actually very personal. I’m very impress on the newly recruited lane marshal as they seem to be hardworking and dedicated to their work as the only thing missing is the experience working on this type of event.

So the upcoming event would be Malaysia Open which which will be on 11 March 2007 but the chances i will be working again is very low as i need to focus more on my studies… So hopefully i can find someone to be the new appointed Cheif Lane Marshal and can do a better job than me… As for now~ i’m seriously dead tired so going to start recovering by SLEEPING!!!!!

MAPCU Bowling 2006

Another year has arrive for the *ermmm~* i don’t know how many years for MAPCU Bowling but whatever man as it has already started today and for the first time i didn’t participate with a few lame excuses and also i had my reason not to play as well. At first i would assume this year event would be the same as last year which very few team participate and very few game which for me it felt like just normal simple warm up but ended up quite a lot of team participate even with a few missing team like INTI College Malaysia, KDU and the rest which i can’t really remember. Other than that i’m also suprise that a lot of good bowler participate which most of them i know and at least bring up the tournament standard but sadly i didnt participate this year….

I assume most of them thinking the same as i do which is "Why on earth so limited game?!?!?!?!". It’s kinda sad that Singles, Doubles and Team event only 3 games which the Master event has only 6 games… but somehow there is no choice if you compare to MAKSUM which have almost hundred of team participate for the tournament… As i expected this year HELP College will surely take home the overall champion trophy as the girls side already have four national level bowler and the guy side itself which is suprising to me have one national level bowler out from nowhere so basically its not a problem for them to bag the top three post for any event~

Well whatever its i’m not a participant and i just go there to hang out and so called support my friends. Besides that had dinner with them (more like my dinner, supper, tomorrow breakfast and also lunch…) as we went to The Manhattan Fish Market and i myself order The Flaming Platter for One which its damn filling then we chatted there for quite sometimes until the worker there asked us weather we wanted to order any dessert so kinda a little awkward so we left the place then walk around and after a while we really got ourself dessert! Damn! dining at Manhattan Fish Market already drain my allowance dry and some more want to go Baskin Robbins! Well once in a while like this should be okay i guess but that Maui Madness truly madness man! Just one single scoop also making my throat dry like hell~! i think its best for me to stick back to Haagen Dazs event its slightly expensive hahaha

X Game Asia (Day 2)

Had a good time today but seriously damn tiring… First thing when i arrive there i got to see skateboarding vert and it was alrite as most of the time the athletes did quite a bad performance during the qualifying round…

After that was walking around and went to the the aggresive inline at the park and waited there for quite sometime. Then did saw a few taekwando performance done by the Korean as they are pretty cool if you ask me. After a while, the speaker started to announce that the Moto X Demo going to start soon and without hesitation i quickly ran there and manage to get a good view for the demo. Seriously its worth it as the demo was awesome! and not to mention that i got to record it down hahaha. Then it gets even more exciting as i got to see with my own eyes as Yasutoko brothers perform!!! Seriously they are really damn good man and its worth it to wait there for so many hours just to see them perform. Besides the brothers, i notice a 12 year old kid can do crazy stunt man! i mean how often u get to see this as he is just 12 year old and seriously doing the aggressive in-line way much better than the other athletes. That kid manage to do a fakie 900 man!!!! and that is what i called EXTREME SPORTS man!!! Tomorrow is the finals and i’m sure i not going to miss it and seriously i’m extremely tired and got to rest for tomorrow~

X Game Asia (Day 1)

Day One of X Game Asia~
Wow~! Can’t believe it that i went for the event but sadly first day was totally sad case as by the time i got there most of the event have been canceled due to rain… So basically i didn’t see any performance from the participant but tomorrow i’m sure to go again and hopefully it doesn’t rain again!

Well i spent most of the time there watching the performance from local band such as the OAG, Junio Hustle and the Roshan from K-Town Clan but honestly i don’t really bother much of their performance. The first performance from Korean are really interesting as the way they rap, breakdance and also use their traditional instrument as a combination to give out a really good start but truly u really need to forget about the rest… Ohhh forget to mention about the dj’s of The Stylustics which i only like the part they did ’scratching’ and the rest was ok ok la… So tomorrow hopefully it will be a blast as i’m sure would want to have a good time there. Not to mention i need to get those freebies!!!! muahaha!!!

Holidays and it will be over soon…

Finally got the time to write my blog… Right now i’m getting sick as i got this terrible headache, flu and slight fever after i got back from Penang after participating Penang Pesta International Championship 2005 but sadly didn’t qualify due to various reason and no matter what reason it is… i still haven’t reach the level which my sister have achieve. Recently she became Champion for Internation Junior All Star Bowling Championship which its truly something as a brother to be proud as having her to won the event but still… I also hope one day i could have won the event but guess my priority goes to my studies and family…

As far as i remember~ all i did during holiday was fetching my sister for her daily training and as usual waiting in the alley for her to finish her training and by night time on some days i would be bowling league so sadly i don’t think i would like to call it a holiday for me. Not to mention during the Junior All Star event i manage to get a part time job as a lane marshal along with two other friend who join me to work there. But after few days working we realize that during night shift there is only three of us doing the work while all forty eight lane was use and each pair of lane have at least four to five bowler! Being one of the experience lane marshal as i had work during previous tournament i suggested to increase lane marshal but the top management decline so after some discussion with the others as its not fair for them to work so hard but not getting the equal pay as they deserve so we all quit the job…

While we all quit our job for Junior All Star, i still had another part time job at Endah Parade for 1st Malaysian Women’s Games 2005 (Bowling) as a scorer. The job there is way much more organized compare to the one i quit and i dont mind working overtime as their sallary given to me are way much better. This event was held in after a few days of Junior All Star started so my sister also had to participate this event and lucky for me she manage to win Hard Rock Cafe denim jacket and gave to me since she dont really wear it. I really had learn a lot during this event as got to use the bowling alley’s back office to retrieve the scores.

During this holiday i can say i manage to enjoy it as learning things while i was working and got to know new friends which knowing more friend really make me happy and knowing them more so hopefully i can meet them again as my final year for my degree will begin soon… There is a lot more things i would want to write here as so many sweet, funny and weird thing happen but i think it would be too long for me to write all in here so the best i can do is to keep it as my happy memories and not to ever forget it~

My mom’s sister wedding dinner

I just got back from my mom’s sister wedding ceremony and dinner which it has totally drain my energy totally dry! For your information the image beside is me and both of my niece which i havent meet them for years. Basically they are so hyperactive i having hard time doing my things during the dinner as i have to help out to allocate the seat for the guests when they arrive. Other than that, my other niece and cousin which not on the photo also gave me hard time as they are even more hyperactive!

It’s tiring to play around with them while doing other things but its fun as well and the feeling of happiness being with them after so many years of not meeting each other. The dinner was unorganized as the management of the restaurant are poorly done but at least its settle as the wedding dinner was very simple but at least they are happy with it. There is a lot of thing i wanted to talk about here and gave me a lot of experience but i think i better keep it to myself and also i’m extremely tired to write it right now. At least i’m happy to meet all of my relative from my mother side after so many years of not meeting them~
